Cheeks the Toy Wonder

Here are some work in progress pics of one that I did for a friend. He wanted it for his brother for Christmas. It's Cheeks the Toy Wonder from the DC comic book Ambush Bug. It was a lot of fun to do, and gave me a much needed break from the normal work I have been doing. The emails back and forth were interesting. His wife asked him why I was talking about working on, and doing things to his Cheeks LOL.

Heath Ledger Joker

A sculpt I did for Ike-Con Entertainment. I didn't have many pics to go by, but I think it came out nice. Made to fit the DC Direct Joker. Comparison pic included of H Ledger next to the sculpt. The hair still needs to be darkened, so it's a work in progress.

More pics of Fenix project

Here are a few closer shots of the Indiana Jones sculpt.

I'm going to add a bunch of pics of a project that almost got me into trouble. I had been working on (and finished) this figure before any companies did, and I guess they didn't like that too much. I sculpted the head, armor, and the gun. I also sculpted muscles on the body to beef him up a bit. I didn't want to make him too over the top like in the game (GOW), but more realistic. The side pouches are cloth (and functional) and hand made by yours truly : ) The gun has metal teeth in the chainsaw bayonet. That part took a while. The clip also comes out. One figure that I'm most proud of. My biggest sculpting project to date by far.

A few test pics

Ok, I'm testing out this whole blog thing, by posting a few pics of older work. Here are some from my web site including Daniel Craig, Hugh Jackman, Harrison Ford, Sylverster Stallone, and Kate Beckinsale.

These were all done for customers of mine. The Stallone was from Judge Dredd. I sculpted a helmet for him as well. I have a couple pics of the heads painted. The Stallone was painted by Kim Owyoung, who also painted a D.Craig. The bloody Craig was painted by Chris Caraveo. Both are extremely talented.
